2. Participants Analysis:
All together 454 exhibitors participated the fair among which 106 enterprises from overseas and 348 domestic. 1600 booths were occupied, and the net show area reached 45,000 sqm.
As a significant constituent part of 2009 China Furniture & Woodworks, China International Furniture (Summer) Exhibition invites 221 exhibitors from home and abroad, including 52 international enterprises.
The domestic sales market is keeping the escalation trend. According to the market’s requirement, Dalian Yuanfeng Wood Products Co., Ltd. has showcased the Enjoy Furniture Series targeting and making a trail at domestic market. Due to the originated design and excellent craft of Enjoy Furniture Series, Yuanfeng has negotiated with more than 30 powerful distributors within four days, successfully opened the domestic sales market. The superintendent said, ‘We have undertaken tremendous risks due to the transit from foreign oriented to domestic market. Nevertheless, now we feel quite confident over the domestic market because of the excellent efficacy of exhibition.’ Qinxing Furniture has also pushed forward its seven home furnishing products series represented with bucolic style covering bedding, seating, cabinet, exhibiting stand, and unique design of prototype room. This innovation not only brings exuberant customer volumes but also successfully chooses 8 agents.
Foreign market also shines its highlights. Affected by global economic storm, general tendency of European and American furniture market has been deteriorated to some degree. However, highlights are not covered among insipidity. Especially, the Japanese market has achieved stupendous efficiency. Japanese National Furniture Alliance, the most charismatic furniture distributors’ organization in Japan, has organized tremendous purchasers with superb quality. They have clinched the business deal with many exhibitors and also reached the potential deal either. Desen Furniture has adhered the principle to targeting high-level market which finally wined a hefty order from Morocco. Furthermore, the foreign exhibitors from 16 countries and regions such as European Union, USA, Russia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia etc, have provided the convenient channel for facilitating Chinese furniture enterprises to learn more about foreign markets.
China Woodworks 14th and China Furniture Supply 14th totally attracted over 230 woodworking machine and furniture raw material suppliers to be part of the shows. 54 international companies exhibited at the shows.
For China Woodworks 14th, the organizer invited purchasing delegations from Russia, U.S.A., Germany, Japan, Thailand and domestic regions.
Gerling Automation GmbH, Great Field Machinery Co., Ltd.，IWIS Hard Materials (Dong Guan) Co., Ltd., Jian Ming, Zhu Ming, Chiahuey, Li Cheng, Boyuan, Giantway, Qianchuan, Qiqing Commercial Land, Hao Mai Long, Weideli, Xinjihongye, etc. displayed their latest machines and technology. Automatic Brazing Machine GLE 300 of Gerling could work for 24 hours continuously and support 3 production lines. The degree of symmetry of saw tip center is 0.005mm. The diameter of saw blades is 800 mm which improves efficiency greatly.
Qingdao Hao Mai Long Woodworking Machinery displayed their autonomously developed wood door processing center, which produces wood door with instant-formation technology. The processing center shifts saws automatically and is easy to operate, for which patent has been applied. Wide attention was paid to the technology at the show, 6 companies who were also exhibited at the fair entered cooperation intention with it.
110 companies gathered at China Furniture Supply 14th. The U.S.A. Pavilion organized by Hardwood States Export Group (HSEG) and American Hardwood Export Council(AHEC) was joined by 19 American wood products suppliers. This is the second time that U.S.A Pavilion showcased on China Furniture & Woodworks. The program sponsored by U.S. Foreign Agriculture Service. Main export organizations and suppliers including Pennsylvania Hardwoods Development Council, Weyerhaeuser Hardwoods, Classic American Hardwoods, Hardwoods of America, Anderson Tully Lumber, Graf Brothers Lumber, Mayfield Lumber, Pike Lumber, Allegheny, Prime Lumber, AHC, American Lumber, MDI, Turman Wood, Shannon, etc. were part of the pavilion.
Big names including French Timber, Murray Bros., Bois Franc Cambium, Transimex, UCS Global, Pollmeier, etc. also brought quality wood material from the whole world.
China Furniture Supply 14th moved to Dalian World Expo Plaza from Dalian Star-Sea Convention & Exhibition Center, simultaneously held with China Furniture for the first time. Dongtai Hardware Precision Manufacture Co., Ltd. placed orders of large amount with 2 furniture manufacturers exhibiting at the show, and met up with over 100 potential customers from Jilin, Shenyang, etc. The company harvested a dozen of orders on site.
3. Attendance Analysis:
43,924 person/times purchasers and visitors attended China Furniture & Woodworks 2009 during the 4 days. 3,022 overseas buyers from 27 countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Holland, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA, Vietnam, etc. and over 40,000 domestic buyers from 23 Chinese provinces covering northeast China, Bohai Rim, Yangtze River delta, and Pearl River delta.
The secondary and third furniture markets of China have also been steadily developed. The buyer’s proportion from these market sections has been increased by 22.6% in comparison with last session. Among the international visitors Japanese visitor tops the proportion.
The exhibition also welcomes 26 buyers’ delegations Russia, U.S.A., Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and domestic regions.
About 30% tickets that the organizer distributed before the fair returned on site. All the pre-registered overseas and domestic buyers came to the show.
